Why Argentina for Your Art, Wine, and Food Vacation?

The world is large and there is not a shortage of travel destinations in which one can explore the vision of local artists, the flavor of nice wines coming from the near-by beautiful vineyards, and diverse cuisine created by chefs from all over the world, so why Buenos Aires and Argentina?

The Intrigue- You may ask the intrigue of what? One aspect being the mix of cultures and visions that run across this exciting city. With the vibrant energy of New York, core culture of Latin America, and the sophistication of Europe, the city of Buenos Aires will be one of the most interesting places that you will visit. Read, read, read all about it and still expect to be fascianted when you come and see for yourself.

The Creativity-
What better place to visit to see a unique style of creativity than a city such as Buenos Aires, where it seems even the non-artists are artisitc. Just walking down one of the tree-lined streets of Buenos Aires one will observe various examples of the artistic core this city holds. Whether it be from the beautiful art museams, one of the many art galleries, the painter on the street who is fine-tuning his craft, or a colorful restaurant where you want to enter simply to be surrounded by it's design. Buenos Aires will allow you to tap into the unique style of this colorful culture.

The Flavors- The flavors of what? Of all. With various destinations that specialize in the craft of producing fine wines, the most popular being Mendoza, the wines of Argentina are a glorified part of the culture and people of Argentina. This country takes pride in what they can show, and with reason. From the very North of Argentina all the way to Patagonia, the wines of Argentina are a never-ending journey of enjoyment. Best of all, these flavors are complimented by beautiful landscapes that will leave you breathless.

The Eclectic Cuisine-
We all travel with different goals and intentions. However, if you are someone who is guided and excited by the cuisine of various countries, then Buenos Aires will offer you not only an Argentinian experience but an eclectic journey for your senses. There is a local flavor that will be easily explored such as a great steak at a local Argentinian Parrilla or a homemade pasta from just about any restaurant in Buenos Aires. In addition to the best of the local cuisine, the restaurants of Buenos Aires expand to various other types of cuisine that will allow you to travel the world within this one city.

  3. Great article, a nice sum up of BA and Argentina. Speaking of eclectic cuisine, I recently tried a cool restaurant (Oro & Cándido) in Palermo, where I ate a type of alligator, rhea, wild boar and venison.
